How much does shipping cost?WE CURRENTLY SHIP ACROSS CANADA AND THE USA. Canada Orders Orders exceeding $200 CAD qualify for FREE standard shipping across Canada. $20 CAD flat shipping on orders under $200 CAD within British Columbia. $30 CAD flat shipping on orders under $200 CAD rest of Canada. USA Orders Orders exceeding $250 CAD qualify for FREE UPS standard shipping across the USA. $45 CAD flat shipping on orders under $250 CAD to USA. 🚨USA duties and taxes Just a friendly heads up: your orders from our Canadian shop might be subject to duties and taxes upon reaching the United States. For orders under $800, there's usually no duty, but be mindful of possible local taxes. Feel free to check with U.S. Customs and Border Protection or your state's tax folks for the latest info.

We prioritize consistent communication to keep you informed of your order's status, coordinating with our suppliers and shipping partners. Upon arrival at our warehouse, allow 2-3 business days for shipping and preparation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched. Important Notices: THE BLUE HERON cannot be held liable for postal delays due to unforeseen circumstances or issues beyond our control. In the event of a delivery failure (e.g., recipient not available), we recommend contacting your local courier promptly to reschedule. Refunds or replacements will only be processed if the parcel is returned to us, with shipping and handling fees non-refundable.

The email must include >order number >receiver's name (first/last name) >the name of the item you want to return >detailed description and images For a smooth return process, please ensure all returned items are unworn and unwashed, with all tags, and in original condition. Please remember to send back items within 7 days from the date they were delivered to you. To make sure we're fair to all our lovely customers, we can only process refunds within this 7-day return grace period. Once we receive your return, we'll swiftly take the necessary steps, and you'll be notified right away. We want to keep you in the loop every step of the way!

What is the return policy?Reporting Damages: Please inspect items for damages upon receipt and report them to order@theblueheronbc.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include in your email the order number, item name, receiver's name, and detailed descriptions/images of the damage. Returns: We accept returns for unused and unwashed items within 7 days from the date of receipt. Items must be returned in their original packaging with tags attached, accompanied by a detailed description/image of the damage. Please be aware that returns not meeting this criteria may be rejected by THE BLUE HERON. *Note: Issues can only be addressed within the initial 7-day return window, and a photo of the damaged items or package must be included for resolution. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. Non-returnable/Refundable Items: Sales, discounted, or promotional items are considered final sales and cannot be returned. Items returned without prior notification and a return request will not be eligible for a refund. Exchange Policy: Currently, we are not available for exchanges. Return Shipping Fee: Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable postal service. It's like having a little GPS for your package, ensuring it gets back to us safe and sound. Returns not meeting our policy will not be accepted, and THE BLUE HERON cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit. Duty and Custom Fee: Any additional duties or customs fees during a return are the responsibility of our valued customers. If wire cutters are on vacation, strong garden or kitchen scissors are the trusty sidekicks. Tackling the Wire Challenge: Feeling the wire resistance? No stress! If wire cutters are MIA, scissors are to the rescue! Cut through the paper and plastic. Make a small notch in the wire. Bend it back and forth a bit to weaken and break it.
